Anzac Biscuit Recipe

Ingredients

65g Porridge oats
40g desiccated coconut
80g plain flour
80g caster sugar
80g butter
1 tbsp golden syrup
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

Method

  1. Heat oven to 180c
  2. Put oats, coconut, flour, bicarbonate and sugar into a bowl.
  3. Melt the butter and stir in the golden syrup.
  4. Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour the butter mix into the bowl.
  5. Stir gently and combine the mix together.
  6. Press the mix into balls approximate golf ball size on a tray with baking paper on leaving room for the mix to spread a little.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 mins until golden.
