Cheese and Tomato Bread Recipe

Ingredients

125g Strong white flour
125g strong wholemeal flour
40g oats
I tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp salt
20g butter (cut into small cubes)
50g sundried tomatoes, cut into small pieces
50g cheddar cheese, grated
200g Yeo Valley natural yogurt

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200c/gas 6/fan 180c. Line and dust a baking sheet with parchment and flour.
  2. Sieve and mix the dry ingredients on a large bowl.
  3. Rub in the butter.
  4. Stir in the cheese and tomatoes.
  5. Pour in the yogurt and mix quickly with a table knife.
  6. Bring the dough together very lightly.
  7. Shape into a domed, round loaf.
  8. Put the loaf on the baking sheet and score a deep cross in the top.
  9. Bake for 30-35 mins until the bottom of sounds hollow when tapped.
